Bruce Oakes took his music with him throughout Western United States on various Electrical Power Line Projects and while in California he joined friends Gib Guilbeau, Gene Parsons, Clarence White, Wayne Moore and others involved with the cutting edge of the Country Rock Era. Through the years he has stayed active with "The Hi Line Fever Band" and continues to write, play and record with a style all his own.
