Welcome! OBA is an international band dedicated to bringing funky irresistible grooves in songs that catalyse a universal state of mind. Babatunde Olatunji, the late and legendary Master musician brought us together in his Drums of Passion orchestra. We developed deep, lasting fiendships while touring worldwide with Baba bringing the Culture.We all have played on countless recording sessions on 3 continents with many great artists. Now we carry on the tradition of hot, delicious soulful music in spicy new gumbo of original compositions composed by Gordy Ryan. We honor and respect our roots while keeping our hearts and ears open.Our first offering is 'One Breath Away', an album that invokes the power of Love to transform human experience.This music has been called sexy; it will light a fire in your soul.
