"O.B" Addy, the founder and leader of I & I was born and raised in a traditional "house of drumming" in Ghana, West Africa, which meant being at the heart of an extraordinarily rich musical culture. His background and training are in ceremonial West African drum and dance, but his first musical love has always been reggae,
His dream to put together a reggae band that would combine the perfect blend of Afri-Caribbean rhythms, heartbeat bass, sweet soul lyrics and melodies with the full tilt of Afrikan drums makes for an enthralling performance.
I & I is fast becoming a favorite with fans of blues, country, rock or classical music. Great music is great music. Addy's obvious and contagious love for his music and culture simply compels an audience to dance, sing or howl with delight.

This is a very dancable, energic CD with conscious lyrics and a big sound, smooth and infectious. Afikan drums create an irresistible rhythm. The love of life shines thru.
