Album Notes

Jon O'Bergh is a keyboardist, composer and producer whose musical textures blend a multi-ethnic sound combining elements of New Age and World music. He graduated from the University of California at Irvine, where he studied classical piano. He has produced 4 CDs, including his latest, "Meditations from a Lost World" (2002), which reached #3 on the New Age Voice chart; "Sacred Spaces" (2001), a musical blend of chants, prayers and sacred texts; "Carta" (2000), which remained at the #1 spot on the New Age Voice chart for two months; and "Millennial Landscapes" (1999).

"Meditations from a Lost World," inspired by the sublime beauty of Guatemala and Mayan culture, takes the listener deep into a realm beyond time. Towering Mayan pyramids; serene cathedral ruins; the remnants of lost worlds; and a mystery that ripples beneath the surface of things -- these are the subjects of the fourth release from Jon O'Bergh.
