Album Notes

Song writer and music educator Obie Leff is a dual mission: to write great songs and to help children learn the core curriculum through music. Some of Obie's CDs are full of songs from the heart, while others teach math concepts such as counting, geometry, or multiplication. Whether the content is math or fun stuff like dirt and electricity, you will hear the voice of an expressive musical artist. Obie writes and records all of his songs, performing on guitar, keyboard, bass, recorder, trumpet, you name it. All of Obie's tracks are mixed digitally in his home music studio. Having worked with kids for over a decade as a classroom music teacher, Obie knows kids and what they are capable of. His music is never condescending and is generally appreciated by people of all ages, including adults. The Leff family lives in Sutter, CA, Obie with his wife Jill and their two boys, Riley and Spencer.
