Ascending Soul is an EP that contains some of the most recent pieces  for 6 & 10 string guitar by Anthony Ocaña where the guitar is approached in an unusual manner.

"Ascending Soul" for Soprano and 10 string guitar, dedicated to Ingram Marshall, is a composition where the soprano repeats an ostinato that coexist with the guitar development.
"Divertimento" is a delicious piece written for 6 string guitar tuned in G. 
"Improviso 3" is a piece written for the 10 string guitar and dedicated to Egberto Gismonti. Each hand works independently taking advantage of the whole instrument from a percussive and guitarist point of view. 
"Homenaje a Heitor Villa Lobos" is a piece written for guitar and delay inspired on melodies of the Bachiana Brasileira nº5.
