The Ottawa County Bluegrass Band is a family band consisting of a father, two sons, and an old family friend. While we all have varied musical backgrounds, our love of bluegrass music is what brings us together as a band. We love the old traditional style of bluegrass, and also those gems we find from anywhere that fit our own vocal style. this cd is for anyone who likes great music and singing in the traditional sense, and amazingly, all without a fiddle in the band. this mellow sounding group is the kind you put on the cd player and hit the repeat button. i do just that when i want to hear some clear, crisp sounds of bluegrass music. the songs have a lot of meaning and make you think. this group has it together. the rhythm and beat are remarkable.
