Album Notes

Ocean Bed is a versatile melodic hard rock & metal act founded by guitar player Sven Horlemann in 2005.
Highly melodic Ocean Bed finds a good balance between hard rock, modern metal and classic rock.

Ocean Bed in 2008 is lead singer Klaus Schmuck, Sven Horlemann (guitars, keys, background vocals) and new kid Andy Sachs on bass. Drums are a mixture from using a session drummer - an old friend from the band - and the programming skills of Sven.

They recorded 3 CD\'s so far: \"Ocean Bed\" (2006), the EP \"Find Your Way\" (2007) and \"Nothing Is Real\" (2008).

Again production was handled by main man Sven Horlemann, who realized a fresh new sound for the band. \"Especially the drums sound now how they are supposed to\" comments Sven \"and with me now using a cool Hughes&Kettner / Marshall combination improved the guitar sound as well.\"

As a follow up to the EP \"Find Your Way\" the band succeeded in pushing the limit even further. Says Sven: \"Better songs, better sounds, better melodies. I am really pleased with the outcome.\"

Chosing from 17 songs is quite a task to manage. \"You love them all, you know\" laughs Sven. It is a habit of Sven to finalize pre-production only for songs that meet highest standards, all songs were going to be released. The band decided to split them on to releases: the EP \"Find Your Way\" and \"Nothing Is Real\".
