Album Notes

Oceans in Oblivion started as The One Inch Oneders in the summer of 2001. Originally a 3-piece band, the group consisted of Hayden Nerbel on bass/vocals, John Redifer on drums, and Jef Song on guitar/vocals. They played a lot of parties but never had any groupies.

OIO changed to Oceans In Oblivion when its 4th and final member Justin Lee joined a year later. After Justin's inauguration, the band started writing original songs and playing shows around the Seattle area.

In the summer of 2005, the band had time off school to finish 4 songs for an EP. It was during this time the band contacted Seattle Producer Casey Bates (Gatsbys American Dream, This Providence) to record with. The week long recording session resulted with the 4-track EP 'This Place Called Home.'

Now in 2007, the band hopes to play some more shows in the Seattle area and promote their two recent recordings "Worth It" and "Love and Lust." You can hear the bands latest songs on their website.
