In this compilation, Ochieng' Nelly treats fans to his distinct guitar style with sharp melodious "pickings". Nelly, declared "Doctor of benga music" by his fans lived upto the title. Upon his death, there was general agreement that perhaps noone will ever play the lead guitar benga style as Nelly. One of the key promoters and refiners of benga music, he was part of the legendary benga maestro, George Ramogi's band before forming the brand new Victoria Jazz Band. Victoria would later prove to be the training ground of many a benga musician including Collela Mazee.
