WOW! What a superb musician-performer! I never heard the harmonica played like
I purchased this CD from Octavia at one of her concerts. WOW! What a superb musician-performer! I never heard the harmonica played like that, or by a woman! This CD is wonderful! I have been a jazz lover for years. Octavia's treatment of these great jazz classics with her incredible voice and harp playing is both inovative and refreshing from the standard jazz instrumentation I always hear. Thumbs up Octavia, keep up the outstanding work! Having checked her website, I can't wait to get my hands on her new blues CD too.

Octavia's vocals: powerful, sensitive, beautiful. Her harmonica: enchanting & un
I first saw Octavia as the cover girl in a NJ/Phila. publication called Connections Magazine (June 06), highlighting a 14 hour Summer Solstice event at the Kimmel Center in Phila. I thought, she must really be something if they chose her to be on the cover out of all those artists! My thoughts on the matter were right!
We caught Octavia's performance of jazz and blues. I was impressed enough to purchase her CD. I absolutely adore it, and can't get enough of it! Octavia's renditions of these classics songs are both addicting and medicinal. My daughter keeps asking me to play Over The Rainbow (over and over).

I highly recommend this CD to anyone with a love for this music. Octavia's vocals are sensitive, powerful and beautiful. Her harmonica is both enchanting, and unique to this genre of music. I eagerly await her next jazz CD. Thanks Octavia, keep up the great work! Hope to catch you again soon.
