Genuine, humble, authentic, or just simply the term 100 are all words that could be used to describe the unique southern gangsta rap stylings of Off tha Chain's headlining artist Robyn Lexristopher Williams, better known among his fans as Oddessey. Oddessey was born in Birmingham, AL on December 27, 1981, but spent a large majority of his childhood growing up in Chicago, IL. For Oddessey, music was always a way of entertaining and expressing himself, even more so because of his reltionship with his grandfather who owned as well as DJ'd a club in chicago. He was raised in a single-parent home by his mother Rosalyn Williams, and as a lot of black men in urban setting turned to the streets in order to fulfill his monetary and social needs. Since returning to Birmingham Oddessey has seen a lot and has adjusted his northern style of hustle and flow to Alabama's more slow paced rugged type environment and is all geared up to release his long awaited project Determination of a Rider . With hits like "100" "D-boy on" and "So Cold" it is highly anticipated and expected to be some of the hottest shit to hit the streets since the hottest shit on the streets. Oddessey genuinely feels that his path is that of the o-g's & gangsta's, and is driven by money and weed. When questioned about his feelings on his project he responded simply " Da shit on smash, when dey here it dey gone know."
