Odd Logic : Over The Underworld

A truly progressive offering meant to synchronize with the (2003) vampire vs werewolf modern classic movie "Underworld". A much more detailed sync than some of its urban legend predecessors like Floyd and Rush with a metal edge. A prog rock/metal epic.

Album Notes

“Over The Underworld” is a conceptual progressive rock/metal presentation meant to synchronize over the modern classic vampire vs. werewolf movie “UNDERWORLD” (2003). The sync instructions are in the CD booklet and can also be found online at myspace.com/oddlogicrock and cdbaby.com/artist/oddlogic. This intense year-long project gives you detailed sound and song accompaniment from the start of index 12 through the final credits. Take a listen AND look at this forgotten form of prog music theater. Fans from Symphony X to Pink Floyd, from Opeth to Yes, from Megadeth to Kansas, and the like… will dig this release.

Sean Thompson does it again!!

Wasn't sure if Sean could out-do "the Legends of Monta," but He did! By itself "over the Underworld" is awesome stuff, and synced to the movie it is pretty mind blowing. However, I quickly discovered that it does not sync up with the extended version of the film, the additional footage throws the sync off by about 12 minutes. If you dont mind playing with it a little to get the pause/resume timing right, then this is not a problem. However, I do reccomend using the original Theatrical version, it is definitely worth it, like I said, watching the movie with the music is pretty mind blowing. Great Job Sean Thompson!!! Cant wait to hear what's next.

It takes a lot to follow up to Odd Logic earlier albums, but once again they have managed it. This is progressive rock of the highest class. Instrumentally they are 100%. The vocalist is also of class. If you do not have the former Odd Logic CDs in your directory, so listen to them too. A fantastic band, which does not grow on trees. 5 stars - quite clear. Log Into CDBABY and buy Their Entire collection. If you're a progfan, you Simply love this musc.

Friend of mine got me into their older stuff and I had to try the new one. Never experienced a music-movie sync before. Awesome detail as well and really cool music. Play this thing on a big system along with the movie on a big TV and your mind will heal itself from all prior musical injuries. If you're into progressive rock, groove metal, and dark epic movies then please treat yourself. Love it!!!
