Jim Offerman Band is singer-songwriter rock from Utrecht, The Netherlands. At the heart of the band, is singer/pianist/guitarist Jim Offerman. The enigmatic frontman weaves straight-from-the-heart lyrics about love, friendship and personal growth into compelling melodies that are easy on your ear. Also featuring Jeffrey van Rossum on piano/synths, Pepijn Kromhout on bass, Ruben Brinkhuis on guitars/violin and Tijmen Ruizendaal on drums, the band creates an intricate mix of delicate ballads and catchy rock songs. The music of Jim Offerman Band is at times subtle and sweet, at times loud and screaming, but always filled with passion and fire. Jim Offerman Band rocks.

The debut EP ‘Another Day’ – originally released as a download-only album on June 1, 2006 – demonstrates the group’s diverse sound, by placing rocker ‘How Can It Be’ before poppy love song ‘Like Superman’. The album then continues with ballad ‘Hold On To Your Dreams’ and closes with rock-anthem ‘This Is Me’. The CD version, released in October, adds ‘The Abyss’ and an acoustic rendition of ‘I Want You Back’ as bonus tracks.
