EVP1 is a story. It is the story of a ghost, a non-human entity, and the people who came in contact with them.

We have lived with ghosts for as long as we have lived in this life. Although EVP1 is just a nice, nasty little journey into the fictional macabre, all of the ghosts in EVP1 are real. (The entity Darkness is also real in his own way…but let’s not go there right now.)

Of Shadow People is Matt Frazier, Elizabeth Frazier, and Erik Foxvog. We use dialog and sound effects to bring our music and story to life.

Think about what you would like to hear--what you would like to feel. A heart beat. The rhythm of breath. The footsteps toward a chance encounter. All is in music. Music reflects life as life reflects music. To make music is magical. To feel music is magic shared. Feel life and life becomes music in the simplest beating of a heart.

This is an abstract of the introduction to a class Elizabeth presented, in white-face, recently.

(Written on a white dry-erase board) Today we work in black and white. Black and white can distill the complicated down to its simplest form. (Turns to face the audience) This is a mask. A mask can also distill the complicated down to its simplest form. (Question from a student: “Have you lost your voice?”) No. I simply choose not to speak. That can distill the PERFORMANCE down to its simplest form.

(We speak from the core of our being when we speak through our art.
