Album Notes

Adesina Montrose popularly known as Addie, 26 years old,one child , and very serious about how he handles business and music affairs. He has been writing, producing and engineering for his publishing company (Ohmega Red Pub/ ASCAP) in his studio for the past six years.

He is always working on new material and ideas trying to make the next song better than the previous one. Adesina is a self taught engineer who learned the trade by sitting in with professional producers at their studio sessions and also by interacting with engineers, writers and producers and by reading extensively about the business.

He attained a great deal of technical and practical knowledge of the music business by working with DJ's and cabaret establishments. Addie is himself a DJ and sound man. He started DJing in popular Brooklyn and Queens night clubs about four years ago. Adesina is not at all a club person but when the beat is hot he is at that spot.

In 1996 Addie helped in forming a rap group called Black Mata. Black Mata sold one of their early tracks for more than one thousand dollars, which was enough incentive for the group to continue their studio work. They were featured on a late night underground rap station 105.9 FM. New York, In 1998 Black Mata folded but Addie continued on to form Ohmega Red Pub (Red Hot Slang).

Addie and his red hot team also appeared on the play it or slay it segment on a Maryland radio station 93.9 FM in 1998. Currently he is working on his latest album entitled "What You know About." So check him out U heard.
