Album Notes

From Albuquerque, NM USA

Oh, Ranger! is exactly what popular music needs today -- good musicians who write fun and catchy songs and aren't afraid to make everything they do an event.

Their current extravaganza is an 8 song disc, "bitter yearnings on a lonely farm." that will make you wonder why rock-n-roll is not always this fun, or this good

From the fun and catchy opener "Chewbaca," (Chewbaca you smell so good) through the seductiveness of "Mrs. Satan" (tell me Mrs. Satan do you love me?) and the empty threats in Red Headband, (i'm going to steal your red headband and drive away) Oh, Ranger! drag us through love inspired mud puddles where infatuation is the cliff from which we all jump into shaky relationships with questionable people who have those "legs, eyes, & spiked hair" that make us want to go on Judy Brown and declare our not so secret desires.

REVIEWS

Dynamic, Emotional Breakouts. Blew me away!
author: Frank Cole
I saw Oh, Ranger! play once and I thought they were amazing. I'm a huge fan of Indie-Rock type bands so I went and grabbed their CD. Their CD does a great job bringing across their live energy. There are some really catchy riffs sometimes and other times an emotional breakout. You have to check it out.
