Tim and Judy's first release as a duo offers a powerful program of music by North, South, and Central American composers for soprano and Classical guitar. The selections include elegant arrangements of traditional folksongs, haunting melodies with elements of folk and jazz, and traditional South American selections for solo guitar.
The second half of the program features music by contemporary American composer Dr. Gwyneth Walker (b. 1947), recipient of the Year 2000 "Lifetime Achievement Award" from the Vermont Arts Council as well as the 2008 "Athenaeum Award for Achievement in the Arts and Humanities" from the St. Johnsbury (VT) Athenaeum.
