This compilation CD is a benefit for the Old Fire House in Redmond, WA. The Old Fire House is the Northwests longest running All Ages Venue as well as a teen center, recording studio and media lab.

All the bands on this compilation have a deep relationship with the Old Fire House and many of the artists on the CD started their music careers on the stage at the OFH. All the bands donated these great songs because they believe in the Old Fire House and understand the contribution it makes to the lives of young artists.

From the get-go, your ears are filled with such blissful innovative aural collages, spilling over with imagination, that you wonder how you ever survived the mainstream sickness of radio rock. This largely varied benefit compilation, sporting everything from intimate emo rock to a carefree jangle reminiscent of the Beatles to thrashing punk heavy enough for the angst-lovers, is a trip through the extremes of human emotion you won't want to miss.

If you're a fan of the indie music scene in seattle (which you know you all are, don't deny it) then you'll love this comp. It's got some bands you may or may not know, but you won't regret the measley price to have it in your cd case. On top o' that, it was released for a great cause... so rack it up people and rock out.

Another way to love the Fire house

The Old Redmond house is amazing, and this CD really reflects the "soul" of the beloved teen center. After each track I was blown away with then amazing sounds and tracks of this CD. The great majority of CDs don’t have feeling put into them. But this one just by reading the inside credits you can tell the love and hard work that went into this. Kate Becker made an AMAZING CD. Listen to it today and be amazed with the sound of the Redmond teen center this CD.
