Album Notes

Olé formed as a two-piece in the fall of 1998, which evolved later in 1999 into a three piece adding the element of a female drummer/vocalist. Highly influenced by the musings of such bands like: yo la tengo, low, velvet underground, red house painters.

Olé blends pop-sense with beautiful melodies and dreamy ideals.

This band has been a part of each of us for quite some time now and I never see that changing. We are three persons searching for similar things in life. We like the way things are and we find ourselves content occupying our little space in this universe, as three people who for some reason ended up together because of the music that's helped us move through life with a little more ease. Olé, from the beginning, has been a friendship and an extension of who are.
