Spawning from the jagged, green, and almost always frosted with thick snow, mountains of Sun Valley, Idaho... These boys came together at a young age to play music of all kinds over the years. Countless projects finally produced something that had taken many shapes but always contained the core elements of Olin & The Moon. Singer/Songwriter David LaBrel, musical companion and collaborater Marshall Vore (perhaps one of the most/least important men on earth) and of course, best friend, brother of David, guiatrsist and songwriter, Travis LaBrel, created a strong bond of musical friendship. Female bassist Erica Wheeler was a latter addition to the group in order to provide a much needed dynamic... Together they began jaming out, Boozin' and boot stompin', harmonica-whalin', organ-moanin' heart-felt indie-folk rock-and-roll for the sake of getting the music out of thier heads and into songs... They self-released an intimate full-length record and thereafter relocated and spent a year in writing, producing and recording in studios around los angeles that yields their newest record... Here you have it.. some of the only in-it-for-the-love-of-the-music poor bastards left... Hoping to bring some real fun to the table in la... instead of another bottom-line-mentality rock band... because we all know L.A. has enough of those already..

Enjoyed 'discovering' the band on a recent trip to LA from Australia. Saw them by chance - wanted the CD to listen again from home. Quality!

I was surprised on how quality the production of the cd was... I looked at the artwork, and I didn't think it was going to be as good as it was... one of my favorite cd's right now... Keep it up!
