Let me explain, when you think of horns and horn players who have made a terrific impact in the field of Blues and Soul, one name comes to mine is the late great, “Jr. Walker,” with his thundering, soulful saxophone, that he made his, Signature of Soul”. Now enter Oliver Johnson introducing again, to the world of Blues and Soul his, “Signature of Soul,” the trumpet, the horn that Gabriel blew, the horn that brought down the great Walls of Jericho. Oliver Johnson the trumpeter/singer/songwriter/composer is charging into the realm and hearts of Blues and Soul music-lovers with his new sound, new way of rocking the Blues and Soul music world. Luv ‘N’ Thing is his vehicle and it is filled with all original songs that have real life-living lyrics and great dance beats that will definitely touch your soul.

In the Album, Oliver gets into much deep conversations, situations and analyzed problems faced by most men when it comes to relationships with him and his women. In the song titled, “Hello Time,” Oliver even touches upon the reality of, How time flies, and leaving us to wonder, What is this thing called life, is all about?

Oliver’s front line consist of trumpets, trombones and saxophones that leads the band he calls, “Nite Train,” not far behind is his rhythm section, Air-tight, guaranteed to cover his back. Oliver Johnson and Nite Train is what fans call a rockers with funky bottoms.
