Ballad of Kitty Jones tells the story of teenage animal rights activist Kitty Jones and her work to educate the public about the plight of animals who face abuse and death when utilized for food, clothing, cosmetics testing, experiments and entertainment. She believes all animals, including fish, should have the right to live their lives without people owning or controlling them. She is also the subject of a new feature length documentary film now in production titled "The Girl Who Loved Animals" which will feature this song. She has won numerous awards for her efforts to help animals.
