Just friends... recorded when Olly had hair, and absolutely no idea of how to create an album.
From piano/vocal jazz to 'a capella', rock/pop ballads to rock 'n' roll and boogie woogie.
This debut album is really just a great excuse to celebrate music making. Enjoy.
A brief Bio
Oliver J Wedgwood - is most definitely not a professional musician, although he thought he was one when he recorded 'Just Friends'. Putting it simply, Olly loves playing the piano, singing, making good music with other talented musicians and making whoever happens to be around feel good through his music.

greatt debut album
author: Ester
yes, great album. it features 15 songs. Amongst them are covers and original work. From the covers I'll mention "Route 66", a great 'vocal version' of the Bobby Troup original, and Stevie Wonder's "Happier than the morning sun" which also features Olly Wedgwood's brother on the drums. From the originals "Bottled Love" stands out. It's a great song, with very good lyrics and a great melody. The kind of bouncy verses pass into the beautiful, graceful, chorus. These are only 3 of the songs that are on this album and the others are also amazing! Trust me, you'll love this album!

Fantastic musician - wonderful singer - buy this CD
author: David Ellis
Quite simply, this is an outstanding CD, and I can't believe that no-one has heard of this guy yet. An interesting mix of solo piano, jazz trio/ quartet and larger ensemble tunes - almost a shame he hasn't a CD of each. The sprinkling of originals (including the title track) don't look out of place among a fine selection of standards: each of which is given an unusual twist. A great debut. Can't wait for the next installment.

Excellent jazz debut with strains of Al Jarreau, HCJ and Jools
author: Jon Hooper
This an uplifting eclectic mix of jazz and soul with influences including Al Jarreau, HCJ, Jools Holland and Stevie Wonder but given Olly's unique style and vocals. The piano jazz is a real feature, and the scat vocals on 'Tutti frutti' is something else. Do not miss this album!

Quality covers and charming originals, first class jazz!
author: Cooz
I really enjoyed this one.
Ollys' vocal has a smooth texture that adds depth and originality to the covers (My favorite "Mr Bojangles" is a moving representation of the classic).
