This anxiously awaited Ukrainian Christmas CD is finally here! Olya Fryz combined her talents once again with the amazingly, talented Slau Halatyn of NYC. Together they have created a perfect addition to your Christmas sounds. These are traditional Ukrainian Christmas Carols and Shchedrivky (New Years well-wishing songs) that Olya has learned throughout the years. Olya has performed with bandura players, the Promin Vocal Ensemble, Andrij Stasiw and several bands and hoped to present these in a new, modern way. Slau achieved that and with styles ranging from soft jazz, to gospel, to country to bluegrass the album is great to listen to and wonderful to sing along with!

Singing wth the whole family

This album is truely wonderful! The music is easy on the ears and creates a relaxing atmosphere during the hectic holidays.
We played the CD last Christmas when family and friends were over. It added an extra special mood to an already festive gathering. I play the CD in the van on the way to school. My 3 children have not only learned all the words to the Ukrainian Christmas Carols, but they ask to listen to it over and over again.
Our whole family really enjoys Olya's music, and she has done an amazing job with her colleagues putting this special Christmas album together.
This makes an awesome hostess gift and is a must for all Ukrainian families to have during their Christmas get togethers.
