Album Notes

Was a nerdy kid in Buddy Holly glasses with a book. Got scared silly by being drafted during the Viet Nam War and joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Beautiful and compassionate woman befriended him. She didn't know how to be unkind so she married him (I wrote a song about that called "Uncontrolled Compassion"). Used GI bill to prepare for a job where he would have to do as little actual work as possible, college professor. Frittered his life away with big ideas and guitar strings. Presently holds a day-job as a Professor of Infectious diseases at a small liberal arts college in Colorado.

This is some tasty music. Bringin' home the jazzy blues roots. Each song has it's own unique and choice flavor to enjoy. Creative and thoughtful lyrics as well. Grab a chair and dig right in. Better yet, buy a copy! I highly recommend this excellent CD!
