Album Notes
It all started in 1999,months after we graduated from high school. We decided not to sit around aimlessly but do something lucrative with the precious time and talents we have. With time we fashioned out plans and started putting our literary minds into action by writing thought-provoking poems, essays and songs of inspiration.......and the birth of the hip-hop and R&B group known as The Res"Q" Ranjazz. Debuted in 2000 with a hit single titled "HOPE 2000",played frequently on Rhythm 93.7fm,seaside studio.Lekki Beach,Lagos. We had our plans and we were ready to leave no stone unturned. Not stopping at anything. ....And with the help from friends and colleagues at the Department of Physical and Health Education,University of Lagos,2001/2002 session, the family foundation was founded with the aim of going global to find lasting solutions to critical issues affecting the youths in Africa and beyond. Now in the United States,we are still coming up strong with the music. The world has been alienated from Africa for so long and our mission is to make African culture, tradition, language, music and social values relevant in all spheres of life all around the world.
