Rat Race is the first album from Binghamton, NY based One Click Culture. The album is a wild ride through the various genres that influence the band. Want rock? It's here. Want punk, pop or jazz? They're all here too from the frantic paced, irony laced opening track "Rat Race" to the laid back opening chords of the final track "There's a Moment". Killer hooks combined with some sophisticated musicianship make this an album that can draw you in immediately then continue to reveal more with each listen. The sounds hearken back to the more straight forward productions of the 1970's with a crystal clear mix that let's each instrument shine though. Though One Click Culture is a trio consisting of Todd Evans on lead vocals and guitar, Rob Lipari on drums and Michael Wu on bass and backing vocals, their music never feels sparse. Lyrically thought provoking and sonically rich, Rat Race is a great place to get to know One Click Culture.
