ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This project was recorded on February 25, 2012 between 7pm and 12 am at Vice & Virtue Studios, Brooklyn, NYC. It marks the much anticipated return of Brooklyn Underground icon, One Dae. Best know for his progressive lyrics and for battling Mos Def his first time ever on stage. Dae has resumed recording, with this being the first of four releases planned for 2012. Next up is the appropriately titled, "The Hardest Working Man In Flow Business" Mixtape due out summer 2012.
"Time Lapse" is a 7 song EP with 1 bonus track included. All songs were produced by the German production team, The Mindfeederz. There are no features, which is rare for Hip Hop releases today. The entire project was recorded in one session, which is even more unique. The production has a late 90's Boom Bap feel, complimented with Dae's signature ranging, progressive flows. When asked about the project and what it means to him, he responded by saying, "Well a lot of time has lapsed between "The Scrapbook Mixtape" and now, hence the name. These songs just kind of flew out of me and it was done. I wrote it in a weekend and recorded it in a few hours. What came out was better than I expected. That's why I decided to release it prior to my "Daes & Times" LP, which is long overdue. Consider Time Lapse an appetizer to hold you over. Bon Apetite!".
