“WHAT YOU NEED…is to do some of my songs” my father (Ben Tutoli) would say to the band.

We’d say, well, we went here and played there and it was like so and so, and we had so much fun and we made X amount of dollars… and he would always say, “But what you need is to do some of my songs.”

“To really hit it big,” he would say, “ you’ve got to have a song.”

And so we were always playing his songs, too. So, we’ve put 5 of his songs on this CD.

We added some smooth jazz and Latin tunes, too, since everyone says we’re good at them. (Of course we had to add “Song for My Father”-- it seemed only fitting.) And then we got silly and put a kids’ song to a jazz beat to end the CD. Hey, bands just want to have fun.

And you, gentle reader, are here too, to listen to the songs, and possibly to purchase them, so that’s a good thing! It’s good to have a song. Ben...he always had a song!
