caesura 004/001 was recorded and mixed at Necessary Blackout studios in 2001, except for the drum tracks on the song 'clean' that were recorded at Post Hollywood in RI by Dave Lyne.

==============
Fixed/real a tempestuous song in which John Eye lulls the listener with exotic guitar shimmering through the intro and verse, then breaks the mood with a contrasting wall of percussive sonic pressure during the chorus. The rich melodic textures submerged in this composition present an artistic maturity, and bring more to the surface with each listen.
Aphrodisiac brings an element of high speed trip hop to the surface of this work. Rich keyboard textures, booming percussion, and haunting guitars support an intimate and in your face vocal track.
Clean opens with a definitive one of us eastern guitar melody and leads into a wash of guitar and synth rhythm. Keith Martinelli drops a thunderous back beat that anchors the foundation of the song with a danceable element new to One Of Us. John Eye's vocals, biting and melodic during the verse, crest with crushing force during the chorus.

=====
Sky clad, the first full length album (1997) by one of us had several songs remain in the mp3.com Boston top 50 for over six months, and helped the band attain a finalist position in Musician magazine's best unsigned band contest.
"One of us is explosive east meets west heavy guitars and electronica melody on a bed of thunderous percussion, supporting intimate and in your face crushing vocals. The ultimate in sexy, violent, sweat drenched soul exposure."
