On The Drop - The Best I Could Do
author: Ruben Cimbron

On The Drop – Jim Muro(vocals, guitar), Brian Taylor (bass), Mike Baez (guitar, vocals), and Tom Montilli (drums), blend to provide the perfect meld of instrumental unison. This, combined with the vocal stylings of Jim and Mike and lyrics that grip the brain like a placid vice, makes for a sound that is without equal. As with the previous full length albums and LPs, “The Best I Could Do” amazes from beginning to end. Each note, rhythm, lyric, harmony, and sound on this CD is crafted from these artists’ hearts and hands for our listening pleasure. They have ushered in the first decade of our new millennium with a ruckus of style and grace and have wowed music fans in the North East with live shows and releases of some of the best CDs in music history. Thanks to a diaspora of fans, and a little help from the technology of the Internet, the love of OTD’s music has been spread abroad this great nation and the world. It was truly sad to witness the end of an era. The final show on December 17, 2010 was an emotional and triumphant farewell for this group, yet may it serve as a birth of a more powerful force in the world of music. Much Love CHECKIT roo
