Opie Bellas (her full name is Kalliope) has been singing for radio and TV commercials, Clubs and Jazz Festivals in the United States, Switzerland, Japan and Australia, and soon to be in London. She is a regular performer in New York as well as her home in San Francisco. Every song moves me... every song is easy listening... she puts her heart into each and every one. We are really enjoying this CD. Opie's voice is silky smooth, and the instrumentation of the band is super. Not often we hear strings with cabaret vocalists. We are impressed with her style and this recording especially.
