Album Notes

One Part Per Billion originally hails from NYC. Founding member & songwriter J. Matthew Pilger has constructed a sound which includes many elements of different styles of punk, metal, & progressive rock while maintaining raw power & sometimes fury of the underground alternative sounds. 1 Part incorporates catchy melodies over top lush, layered harmonies remenisant of roots classic rock. The lyrical content is sometimes socio-politically driven at times and the band has been compared to acts like Bad Religion, Face To Face, Rise Against, Strung Out, etc. The Quest For Answers has a beautifully polished big room sound out of the studio as opposed to some raw garage type of recording but one thing's for sure, ....PUNK FUKIN RAWK!!! Enjoy.
