Opposite Earth were a progressive metal band formed in the early 90's in Tampa, Florida. The band recorded two demo tapes ("Omed" and "Visuals") and one album ("Headspace"), which was released in 1997 on Progressive Arts Music (U.S.) and InsideOut Music (Europe).
This budget priced digital only e.p. features tracks from the demo's and album, as well as a cover of the Dio classic "Caught in the Middle".
TRACK INFO:
"Blame": From their 1997 release "Headspace". This version is from the InsideOut Music pressing (only released in Europe) which was better mastered than the U.S. release.
"Always Now": Though issued on "Headspace", this is the original version from the "Visuals" demo.
"Narc": From their first demo "Omed". This track has never been issued beyond its original cassette pressing.
"Caught in the Middle": Cover of the classic Dio song. This was recorded for the Dwell Records release "Awaken the Demon: A Tribute to Dio". The version here was a second, slightly different, mix than what appeared on that album.
