Hailing from the corners of Washington,D.C.;OPUS AKOBEN creates their own Hip Hop mold. Recently signed with Label Bleu in France, this live Hip Hop Band is one to look out for. The members include: Vocalists Kokayi and Sub-Z two mc's "that might freeze your brain...", Stan Cooper on guitar, Ezra Greer on bass, Fudj Pudj on keys, Jay Nichols on the drums, and AyCE International on the turntables. This band has been holdin' it down all throughout Europe for the last 6 years. Now they are gettin' ready to tour in the states. Their first album "The Art Of War" on BMG of France is still captivating...to the ears.. Their second album "Raw Life" is still on the charts in France though it was released last June 2002. To see them live is an exhilarating experience. This CD is from a live show from Belfort, FRANCE there were over 3,500 people in the crowd on their tip toes.
