Album Notes

ORANGE PARK is a rock band from New York City featuring Jeff Moore, his brother Justin Moore, cousin Jaye Moore and John Watterberg. The band immediately started touring the U.S. and quickly gained a reputation as a great live band, playing in NYC with acts such as The Strokes, Longwave, and the Yeah Yeah Yeah's. In 2002 they met producer Pete Min (Longwave, Sea Ray) and soon recorded their selfreleased EP "The Extended Play" which received extensive airplay on college radio, Sirius Satellite Radio, the Spin Magazine Syndicated College Radio Show and the Cornerstone Player Compilation. After a four-page article in the New York Times in 2003, the band was approached by the Japanese television network NHK, who filmed a documentary on the band that created a huge buzz over seas.

Orange Park soon recorded their full-length album 'Songs From The Unknown' with producer Pete Thornton, before touring Japan in the fall of 2004. The band instantly attracted the attention of Japanese label King Records who released the album soon after. New York indie label Young American Recordings released the album in June 2005 in North America, and the single "Make Up Your Mind" has already topped charts at college radio and CMJ, and was featured on MTV's The Real World Austin and in the Xbox 360 video game Saints Row. After touring the U.S. and Eastern Europe through the rest of 2005, Orange Park returned to New York City to complete thier new album "Revelations On Future Predictions" (recorded by Shannon Ferguson of Longwave) due for release in fall 2007.
