Album Notes

New Horizons, the second offering by Ordinary Mile was released in October 2007 after finishing their self-titled Album in 2006 (http://cdbaby.com/cd/ordinarymile). Ordinary Mile includes musicians Steve Longworth (Keyboards & Guitars) and Matt Kubley (Bass) along with original members Marty Kolakowski (Guitars, Keyboards & Drums) and Randy Sandusky (Vocals).

New Horizons can best be described as contemporary rock with progressive influences and melodic hooks using ambient synthesizer textures with driving guitars.

"Very contemporary sound- much prog can sound a little dated but this isn't the case here. I like the dark, slightly gothic feel to the track (helped immensely by the vocals) which offsets the more traditional hard rock elements to good effect- helps the track stand out.
