Album Notes

ORIAS was started in August of 2003 by drummer Joe Heinrichs, guitarist Dave Gambert, and guitarist Joe Kushner.It began as a few friends just playing for fun ,and turned into a few friends pushing eachothers musical limmitations. A few months later the addition of vocalist Gary Kushner, and bassist Art Hunt rounded out the bands line up. Over the next 6 months the members of Orias began writing songs that incorperated the various styles that each member brought to the band. this lead the band into the studo in July of 2004, to record 7 songs, 5 of which were released on the self titled, self released ORIAS EP in November 2004. "The Band is made up of five friends who though we all like heavy music, we will never agree. We all have very different tastes, but when we get together we are able to make sense of all of it, and write some really brutal sh**t" (J.H. orias )
