Album Notes

Ornament formed in late 1999 in the desert of Southern California. The band is comprised of Wil Kuhn on vocals, Josh Kjerstad on guitars, Greg Cabral on bass and John Pierson on Drums.

"Pools of Grace" is their debut recording, released in the summer of 2002. This cd will remind it's listeners of U2's "Actung Baby" and the "Joshua Tree", Jane's Addicton's "Ritual de lo Habitual" and R.E.M.'s "Automatic for the People."

Based out of Palm Springs, they have begun touring Southern California with plans of touring the entire west coast.

This band is going to be far. Their ambitious attitude mixed with their passion for music solitifies such a judgement. Their music reminds me of that of the great band U2 and their songs are all moving in their own way. This type of genre is missing from today's musical world and I'm very glad to see this band grow from one song to the next. I give this CD five stars because, again, this is emotional, touching, inspiring music; a type of genre that is unfortunately scarce in the musical world. If you get the chance, see these guys on tour; you won't regret it. Wonderful CD and can't wait for your next, bigger, album!
