“A Light in the Darkness” features unique acoustic guitar and vocal arrangements of traditional Christmas and Advent music, as well as new songs inspired by Jesus’ birth. Singer Brooke Orozco and guitarist Brendan Knorp have been writing and performing together since meeting in 1994 while studying music together at Concordia University in Ann Arbor, MI. Brendan’s interest in a variety of alternate guitar-tunings and Brooke’s natural sense of vocal harmony blend to create rich, warm interpretations of these familiar carols and original compositions. The CD was recorded and mastered by Detroit percussionist Steve Adams, who added his musical touch to a few of the arrangements.

A Peaceful Warm Christmas Collection

WOW - I have listened to many Christmas CD's/albums in the past - This one is incredibly well done and very polished. I love the harmonies and intricate guitar lines. Incredible quality - Very talented Musicians. I hope many more homes will take the opportunity to enjoy this CD in the future. It certainly would make a Great and unique gift as well.

New artists on their first album, what will they do from this beginning. I appreciated the consistent essense of the album, worshipful, familiar, singable enticing me to join in, wanted to listen again, the vocal range is very easy to sing.
