Album Notes

LUCID is the result of over a year's worth of production and composition.

The goal: to produce a drum'n'bass album using live instruments instead of the usual synths and modules.

We began with live drums--some sampled from old vinyl, some played live in the studio.

Then we added the funky, upright bass of David Hughes (bassist for Los Angeles' Jazz Crusaders).

For texture: rhodes piano, strings, acoustic and electric guitars, tablas, duggis, and even a didgeridoo were used--then tweaked to create the otherwordly, but strangely familiar sounds of the Organic Resonance Project.

If you are a drum'n'bass fan, this is an album to check out; we've got all angles covered--in a fresh new way.

Try the mechanical, yet ever evolving drums of BAJA SUNSET for an experimental vibe. **This track spent 3 weeks at #2 on the experimental d&b charts of thednb.com, featuring the best of online drum and bass.**

For jazzy breaks, listen to KUNDALINI RISING.

If ethnic/crossover drum'n'bass is your thing, check out AIRLOCK:

"Stop! Download this now...this an extremely well put together peice and a voyage into pure groove. The eastern melody carries through the intro just long enough before it picks up and gets rolling along to some straight up funk..."
--DNBSCENE.COM

Or for a straight up Amen rolla with a killer didge bassline, try WHERE EARTH AND SKY MEET.

The LUCID e.p. is a well-crafted sonic journey featuring some incredible musicianship--check it out!
