Looking for a new "on the nose," spot-on perfect salsa album? Look no further. With all the saucy piano, penetrating horns and commanding vocals any salsa fanatic could ask for, Orquesta Universal delivers no-nonsense salsa like there's no tomorrow. Wasting not even a second to drive home those addictive rhythms and that magical spirit that finds its way into your bones, "New York Salsa" truly captures this art form at its finest. Mixing in colors from jazz as well, their vocabulary is rich, diverse, spicy and boldly assertive. Fantastic!
