"Once you recover from the initial shock of the concept step back and experience awe at Smith's range, control and humor"
"Very original and hilarious musical satire"
I love singing the fast moving singing technique called "Coloratura" as well as clucking beloved songs. I also like doing all kinds of animal voices and being ridiculously silly. This led to my 2 CDs "The World's Favorite CluckOratura Arias" and "Live! From CarnEGGy Hall", including 2 songs by "Eggith Piaf" and "Memory" from Cats sung by the CatOratura.
I was brought up around Operatic singers and sang concerts from the time I was 10 years old. I fell in love with Folk Music and playing the guitar in my teens, appeared on the Tonight Show which led to my Columbia LP, "A Voice in the Wind". I joined the Jimmy Joyce Singers singing and dancing on the Smothers Brothers Show and many other specials. Much fun was singing with the Charo show in Las Vegas and touring with Dolly Parton as a back-up singer. I just finished a (human) Folk CD "A Voice Forever in the Wind"as a bookend to "A Voice in the Wind" almost 50 years later. Still singing and coming up with arrangements, both silly and otherwise!
