Weird combo of vocal style & music...and it works!!
author: Tom
the singer sounds like a top 40 chick that walked in on a metal band's rehearsal by mistake but stayed and sang anyway. it's strange at first especially on the heavier songs but it works. the first listen threw me but when I listened to it again I realized I was humming a couple of songs. catchy, crunchy, good musicianship, good songwriting, great voice even if it seems misplaced at times.

Wow!
author: Melinda
The production is great, everything is crystal clear, the female vocals are outstanding! Heavy but not too heavy, with a lot of melody. Evanescence with better vocals, a much better sense of humor and without all the goth pretense. Different in all the right ways.

Tight Band with Female version of Mike Patton singing!
author: Matt
I heard this band on The Best Of Howard Stern. The singer had called in & Howard asked her to play her CD over the phone. Now even though Howard trashed her, I thought she had a great voice (also, Howard listens to crap, so if he doesn't like something then it's probably good). Anyway I did a search for them on the net and found the CD here. I am SO glad I bought it because the production is great, the band is tight and the singer is both aggressive and very versatile. If you love the versatility of Mike Patton (Faith No More/Mr Bungle/etc), try and imagine a female vocalist of the same ilk. If you dig Skunk Anansie you will love this. Or...If you like old-school style chick-rock singing (ala Janis, Ann Wilson, Melissa Etheridge), you will love this. The only reason to hate this CD is if you really really hate heavy metal or hard rock. Otherwise it's SO HOT!!!
