Ossimoro are an Italian hard rock band from Rome who have been playing together since 2002. Their influences range from Alice in Chains, Soundgarden to Danzing, Metallica, The Cult and Stone Temple Pilots. Ossimoro are: Federico Venditti (guitar), Paolo Recchia (bass), Francesco Fornara (vocals), Fabrizio Ferrante (drums).
So far the combo have produced two demos (E Siah!2002 and Astri in 2005) and one full length CD "Corvi nel cielo spento" showing their ability to mix rock, grunge and stoner, in a doom sense, with the melodic Italian language, creating a unique sound that hopefully will give a chance to reach a new audience abroad.
The CD has been self produced and the band is looking for a recording contract in order to be promoted and distributed throughout Italy and abroad.
Currently Ossimoro is creating real interest in Italy with a series of incendiary live shows in and outside the capital.
