Album Notes

The Other Chris Hardy has a truckload of songs. "Buddha Zen Tao Rock" is his second release and it features some of his Eastern-influenced songs.

Quite different from his debut album "Insanity Begins In The Home" which contains his most insane and experimental tracks. Both CDs almost sound similar musically - rock/pop like REM, XTC, Foo Fighters, etc. but the subject matter couldn't be more different.

A few of the songs are performed by Chris' "nice" band "3 feet up". 3 feet up is a duo Chris shares with his writer/drummer wife Victoria and they explore a wider spectrum of philosophies than just Buddhism & Zen & such.

So if you're curious about the Eastern philosophies and concepts but don't want to be put to sleep by meditation music, this 12 song collection is for you.
