\'Cartwheel (Round In Circles)\' is the 2nd single to be taken from Otherside\'s 2nd studio album: \'Everything Turns To Rust\'.
The title track is a 5:55 Indie dancefloor monster (20 hours were spent remixing this track alone)!
The band went back and revisited the original tapes at Kebabylon for \'Cartwheel\' and remixed and remastered each element, and added a few newly recorded \"special touches\" along the way.
Having been very pleased with the results of the \'Round In Circles\' mix, the band agreed that the original version of \'Cartwheel\' needed \"sprucing up\" too, so they remastered (and slightly remixed) it to bring the sonics up to the same bar as the \'Round In Circles\' mix.
.. then they took the vocals off the original \'Cartwheel\' and the new \'Round In Circles\' mix, and those tracks (sans vocals) are presented here as tracks 03 + 04!
Otherside are right in the middle of recording their next album, and to round off this Maxi CD release of \'Cartwheel\', they\'ve included a track off the new album: \'His Royal Bitterness\', plus (in keeping with this release) have also added the track sans vocals.
All in all, this marks this new single out as a very special release indeed .. none of these tracks are available previously in this form.
Kebabylon Productions are very proud to present to you, Otherside\'s new single: \'Cartwheel (Round In Circles)\'.

A bridge between the old and the new
author: Ben Jones
I was lucky enough to get a promo from Otherside's record company, with a note stating that the band consider this single as a bridge between their last album 'Everything Turns To Rust' and their new album 'There's No Grey In Black', as the title track is a remix of 'Cartwheel' from ' .. Rust' and 'His Royal Bitterness' is a taster from ' .. Black'. I found this release to be their best yet .. full of killer hooks and Deborah has vocals that gives you chills in all the right places! I'm really looking forward to the new album!!
