He is a graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School (Class of 1957) in Charleston, West Virginia and has studied at Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga and has further studied at Liberty University and American College of Theology.

Satisfied - the wonderful old hymn – tune by Ralph Hudson ( 1843 – 1901) with strings and trombone only and transposed to 4/4 time.

As the Deer – By Martin Nystrom © 1984 Maranatha Praise, Inc. (Administered by THE COPYRIGHT COMPANY NASHVILLE, TN) All rights reserved, International Copyright Secured. Used by Permission. Featuring the trombone and rhythm section with the haunting melody on the second verse played an English Horn. Listen closely and you may hear the sounds of a brook in the distance.

He Looked Beyond My Fault is the traditional Londonderry Air with choir used as an instrument.

He Loves You So – © 1961 by Otmer Horn (Used by Permission) is one of the first songs written by Otmer Horn
Come, Ye weary and oppressed
You with hearts that are low;
Let your care on Jesus rest,
For He loves you so.
Jesus can brighten your pathway
Light every step as you go;
Trust in Him when hopes grow dim
For He loves you so

Just As I Am – A new tune for Charlotte Elliott’s (1789 –1871 ) old words featuring the bass range of the trombone.

Let Us Break Bread Together On Our Knees – The old spiritual in a new spiritual setting featuring choir and vibraphone.

Nearer Still Nearer – Lelia Morris (1862 – 1929) A haunting melody with Trombone and Piano solos “Thro’ endless ages ever to be – Nearer, My Saviour, still nearer to Thee.”

Sun Of My Soul (1774) – Simple with just trombone and piano with a cello solo on the second verse.

When I Survey – Lowell Mason (1792 – 1872) featuring the trombone played straight and up high like a French Horn on the second verse. The listener is transported to Calvary and feels the darkness of the hour in the midst of a violent storm; all creation cries and flees from the sight.

The Beulah Land March is a concert band piece and features a trumpet trio on the second verse, followed by a double and triple tonguing trombone.

All of the arrangements are composed and played by Otmer Horn using a Kurzweil Mark 10 Electronic Studio Keyboard.
