OulchenOwski is a project which gathers two friends musicians:
- Fabrice OULCHEN
- Sebastien TWOROWSKI
The OulchenOwski album contains 9 titles: 9 compositions by Fabrice Oulchen. The album was recorded over three days only, live, in OulchenStudio in Nice.
The music of this album breathes freshness and spontaneousness, the whole with a quality of sound of most professional. OulchenOwski wants to be without claim, just the pleasure of making music together. By making this album, we said to ourselves “go, one goes right to essence and one gives pleasure”. We hope that you will also feel it.
On this project, Fabrice Oulchen uses prototype guitars of which he is the inventor. There too, it is a step without the least claim: simply a need to develop new ways of playing on the instrument as well as new sonorities. Chords which breathe, groovy “fretless” bass lines and of the syncopated rhythms, the whole on the same instrument.
As for drums, a soft play, gentil and effective with hot rods which sound perfectly with the acoustic guitars of Fabrice. The musical kinds mix within this album. One passes from Jazzy to reggae, acoustic tribal rock to diphonic singing. Each piece puts you in a different sound atmosphere.
